Weekend Shot: Day At The Beach
Saturday morning, pile the two older kids into the truck. Go get a haircut.
Pick up the old county road down to the Spring Lake beach. Stop and get some chocolate Muchnkins.
Few hours on the beach, trying to build the last sandcastle of summer.
Play in the waves, pick some shells.
Off to the Circus Drive-In for burgers and milkshakes.
Finish up, pick up Route 35, then Route 70 into Asbury Park.
Some time on the beach playground is the way to go.
Later afternoon now, time to roll home. Pick up a pizza.
It was a good day.
I think the kids had fun, too.
