When Stephen Doyle sent me the image above, he titled the JPG “HotShot.” Heh..yeah, well if that was the case, that was the only “hot” thing going on that cold evening in Tokyo.
We had just finished a shoot in the Ginza district of Tokyo. We were out there with some of my colleagues based in Tokyo and they were super. Even though our photographer, Vicki Peterson, was working quickly, it was still cold. But we weren’t really feeling it. Things were going really well and we were getting the shots we needed.
Really fun shoot in one of the most recognizable locations in the world. Times Square, Tokyo style!
Sushi…yeah, we had some.
Keiichi there, after chatting with him for a bit, also agreed to be #39 in my 100 Strangers project. Good with the sushi knife, pretty cool guy too.
I’m sure you’ll see my Japan remembrances again here in this space. Just a really wonderful experience. I hope to get back there again some day.
