Fries With That

Time is moving so fast…yet so slow…right about now.

My wife is 8 1/2 months pregnant with Baby Krajnak #3 (or BK3 as we call ’em). For her, time is moving slow right now. She’s very pregnant, and is very ready to be very un-pregnant.

On the flip side, Liv and Chase keep getting older, and bigger, and cooler. We three headed out on Saturday, giving Mom some quiet time to rest.

And if you’re going out for a Daddy’ Day…it’s going to include a diner stop.

We decided to head down to the Asbury Park boardwalk for the afternoon, so on the way, we stopped at one of my favorites…The Roadside Diner on Route 33 (at Route 34).

The whole “taking my kids to a diner” thing started at this little joint, one of the oldest in the state, and one of my favorites.

And then, last year, I took a buddy of mine there…

This time, though, it was with my main Jersey Girl…and my little guy, my main man…Little C.

Real soon, Little C is going to be moving up from baby of the family to big brother (well, and middle brother).

Like I said, time, right now, is moving slow and quick at the same time.

How unpretentious is the Roadside Diner?

Well, your nickname may be Boss, and your best gal may be named Patti, and you may visit and have your photo taken…but it still may get moved behind the straws and the sugar and the Pepsi glass filled with silverware.
