New Multimedia: By Appointment Or Chance Revisited
I finally had the chance to revisit some of my favorite images from this past summer, those that go with my photo essay, By Appointment Or Chance. And by revisit I mean, I finally put together a short little multimedia piece to display the essay. Watch below or click here to view on YouTube.
I haven’t done many of these multimedia pieces this year. It’s a long story, but I lost the program I normally had used – Microsoft’s Photo Story. While it was nothing revolutionary, it was a nice easy way to make photo slideshows for stories.
It took me a while, but I finally realized I could achieve similar results with Microsoft’s Movie Maker. Again, pretty simple to use, though I can’t find some of the Photo Story features I like. They may be in there somewhere, so I’m still playing around with it.
But for ease of use on a PC, it’s not bad.
(Please – no comments or dissertations about how I should be on a Apple to this or that. We all have our lot in life – mine is a PC. I’m not going to let an operating system stop my creating. I’ll adapt, overcome.)
Again, a nice simple slideshow. I backed it with Stevan Pasero‘s guitar version of Beethoven’s Claire De Lune. Moonlight, in French. Seems to work nicely here.
