Summer’s Here
Summer’s here.
Well, maybe not technically.
Technically it starts tomorrow.
Technically today is the last day of Spring.
No need to get technical, though. It’s funny – we had such a tough winter here in New Jersey, that this whole Springtime, it seemed like we were all on edge waiting for the next snowstorm, not believing that the grass was getting green and the flowers were blooming.
Now, we’ve hit 90 degrees a few times with nary a snowman in site.
Well, maybe one.
The other evening, it was already hot and steamy. So, for some fun with the kids, under the warm late-day glow, I turned on our landscape sprinklers.
If there’s something I like more than dramatic clouds and smoke…it’s water.
A good time was had by all.
Happy summer, everyone! Let’s be sure to document it. ‘Cause that’s what we do.

You should see the summer in Pakistan. You can fry an egg on the road. We are waiting for winters!
Very fair point, Zari! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by my slice of New Jersey.
