JSP Visual Week In Review 05 | 16 | 15

This blog was quiet this week, my friends. Work was a killer. Long days, come home, eat dinner, see the family, boot the computer back up and proof the new website we’re building. Everything took a backseat to that project this week. Didn’t shoot much, didn’t run. It was one of those weeks.

What can you do, though. Sometimes life gets in the way of life. But, big weekend around these parts. Me and Leslie had our 11th wedding anniversary yesterday. My parents are celebrating their 51st today. I’m talking my middle boy, Chase, to his first big-league baseball game tonight, and tomorrow he turns 5.

I may not get that past week back, but I’m going to make the most of this weekend!

This Week’s Links:

* What I’m reading this week.

* Wayward Pines. Giving this a shot.

* Happy Birthday Ezra Stoller and Ottomar Anschütz.

* B.B. King passed the other day. I had no idea who he was growing up, and it took U2 to introduce him to me.

* Speaking of U2, their guitarist, The Edge, fell off the stage the other day. He just kinda lost his place, and tumbled. I once got a shot of him. Sort of.

* This is fun: Eight car chases to fall in love with.

* Andrew Nette, aka Pulp Curry, looks at the Mad Max franchise.

* “All photographs are accurate. None of them is the truth.” ~ Richard Avedon (who had a birthday yesterday)

  1. Some weeks, just keeping everything together is major success. Congratulations to all on 11 years and on 51 years. That speaks volumes about commitments you and Leslie made and those of your parents.

I’m sorry you did not learn of B.B. King sooner. He was an original that laid the ground work that many other artists were able to build upon. He will be sorely missed.
