JSP Visual Week In Review ~ 11.25.17

JSP Visual Week In Review_112517

NJ>CA>GA>NJ

Those are the coordinates for this week, a travel week. Getting out on the road a bit to do some corporate photography.

New Jersey to California to Georgia back to NJ. I’ll be heading out with my buddy, Gary S. Chapman again, whom I did an extensive amount of travel last year around this time.

In fact, on this day last year, he and I were already in China. So, while the distance covered will be less this year, should be an interesting trip all the same.

And days spent behind the camera making some pictures are better than letting my In box be my To Do list!

I’ll check in the from the road. Time to finish packing.

_______

Birthdays this week: Louis Dahl-Wolfe, David “Chim” Seymour, Barry Schneier, Drew Gurian, Arthur Tress, Sonya Noskowiak

What I finished reading this week: The Highway KindNot bad. A few strong short stories but some were just eh.

What I started reading this week: The Pearl Harbor Murders. So far, eh.

Our Love Affair with Digital is Over (I’d don’t agree in the least.)

A very cool trailer, for Frank Stefanko’s book Further On Up The Road, from my buddy in Asbury Park, Alberto “Dr. Zoom” Engeli

Long read from The New Yorker: The Perils of Pearl and Olga.

The Jazz Loft Project

“What is important is not so much how long you live as whether you live a meaningful life. This doesn’t mean accumulating money and fame, but being of service to your fellow human beings. It means helping others if you can, but even if you can’t do that, at least not harming them.” ~ The Dali Lama, on Twitter this week.
