JSP Visual Week In Review ~ 12.30.17

JSP Visual Week In REview_123017

This winter feels like it’s been going on for months and it’s only been a little over a week.

We all had a nice Christmas last week. Then came the living hell that is… Holiday Week!

Every kid in New Jersey is home this week, so wherever you want to go, it’s mobbed.

It’s nice having my kids home to, but we’re all cooped up in the house for days on end and it’s challenging. They can’t even go out to play without potential frostbite setting in.

I don’t even feel like taking Bo for our meditative walks (that said, he’ll stay outside for hours. The benefits of being a sheepdog, I guess.)

Oh, and a low-grade flu is hitting some of the Krajnaks. Cancelling a trip to NEPA today just in case.

So, this whole week is feeling long. Like, really long.

Birthdays this week: Andreas Feininger, William A. Garnett, Neil Leifer, Eugene Smith, Patti Smith, Milton Rogovin

“Photographers — idiots, of which there are so many — say, ‘Oh, if only I had a Nikon or a Leica, I could make great photographs.’ That’s the dumbest thing I ever heard in my life. It’s nothing but a matter of seeing, and thinking, and interest.” ~ Andreas Feininger
