Event: Photowalk Allentown, NJ (Not PA!)
This October, for the second year in a row, my quaint little burg of Allentown, NJ will be a host location for Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photowalk on October 6.
On that Saturday, I (along with my trusty sidekick Olivia) will be leading a photowalk to show off this little town dubbed “The Crossroads of the Revolution.”
This will be the 11th year for Scott’s photowalk, an event that started out with just a few of his friends and grew into a worldwide event.
This will be the third Kelby photowalk I’ll be participating in. The first was in Asbury Park back in 2010.
And then last year was the first time I hosted one.
Like last year, we’ll gather and end at the historic Old Mill at 42 SouthMain Street. It’s a great central location from which to start the exploration and then end.
Folks can also go in to the Moth Coffeehouse for refreshments, up the street to Woody’s Diner for more substantial fair, or Heavenly Hands for ice cream.
Early October in New Jersey is usually pretty nice, hopefully no rain. We’ll keep our fingers crossed.
We had a pretty good turnout last year and I’m hoping to fill up the 50 spots again. If you’re in our around Allentown (not the one in Pennsylvania), come on out!
If you want to find a walk near your, click here.
If you want to walk with us, click here! And if you can’t make our photo walk, but want to follow along, I’ll be using #allentownnjPW18 as the hashtag on Twitter and IG pre-during-and post event.
Hope to see you out there with us!
