JSP Visual Week In Review ~ 09.08.18
Anyone else have the post-summer blues?
Or are you rejuvenated and ready to get on with the end of the year?
I’m somewhere in the middle, I guess.
It’ll be good to get back on a schedule again (though it’ll have to wait a few more days. My kids went back to school on Thursday, but they are off again on Monday for Roshana.)
And just maybe I’m starting to be ready for cooler weather.
But I’m also using the start of September as a new beginning of sorts. Much of it surrounds my overall health and fitness (running more, doing the the core work, going meatless [again]).
I’m sure there are other areas that I can look at and try to improve upon. One study says it takes about 66 days of doing something (or not doing) for a new habit to be formed. Seems like a long time, but in the grand scheme of things, maybe not.
Maybe that’s the time it will take for me to break the “summer habit” – the time from when the kids are off till they went back to school was just over 70 days.
So, we’ll use this beginning part of September as the restart.
Why wait until January 1?

Work wise, every part of the year feels the same to me. I’m a consultant. I don’t work, I don’t get paid. There are no “slow” times. 😦
