Summer 2019 Is Here!
To celebrate the last day of school yesterday, and the first day of summer today, my boys decided to make a splash when they got home.
No, I didn’t get in the water like I do with the Polar Bear Plunges. Nothing special here – just sat at the other end of the pool with my 24-105 and put it on motor drive to catch each step..
The boys are wet in the at first image because they already did their individual “last day of school” jumps in the pool. It was so humid, though, my lens was fogging up. I hadn’t had that happen since I landed in India back in 2010!
It’s our favorite three months of the year now. We’re going to make the most of it – starting with a night hike in the woods later this evening to use every hour of the longest day today.
