JSP Visual Week In Review ~ 06.22.19
Everywhere there was as whisper of water and a rush of water…
This week was all about the rain. It rained, at least for some part, of every day this week here in my corner of New Jersey.
Then the clouds would part, beautiful sunlight was cascade down (sometimes, still, through rain) and we get fantastic warmth and shadows.
But then, an hour or so later, it would darken and rain for good.
By the time me and the boys took our late evening hike to celebrate the Summer Solstice on Friday, though, the weather pattern looked to be over.
Hopefully this doesn’t portend a rainy summer for us.

What I Watched This Week: Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorsese
What I Read This Week: I finished East of Eden by John Steinbeck. It was pretty lengthy, but oh so good. Easily now within my top five favorite novels of all time. Maybe even number one. (I also watched the film with James Dean – doesn’t hold a candle to the book. Not even close.)
What I listened To This Week: Western Stars, the new one from Bruce Springsteen. I mush have listened to the whole album (see photo above) 15 time already. I love it. Fantastic melodies, wonderful lyrics. And…the video for the title track, shot by Thom Zimny, is beautiful.
