JSP Visual Week In Review ~ 12.28.19

Visual Week In Review_122819

The sand it running out of the hourglass.

On this year. This decade.

Twenty years ago, we were all worried about Y2K and I was getting ready for my first trip to Europe. With Joe McNally no less.

Ten years ago, nearly to the day, I was looking back at 2010. Yes, I’ve been photoblogging a long time.

Now I’m just starting to look back at all the pixels shot this year. I kinda hate looking back, as I’m not a great editor of my own work.

I like to much of  it.

Yet, I’m afraid to turn it over to someone else to do.

Afraid they will like to little of it.

But, end of years are always a time for reflection. Thinking about what was, what could have been.

What do you change, do better, or do again.

Was there growth this year?

Hope so.

Can I do better in 2020?

Let’s see where we were, where we’re going.

Thanks for tagging along!

“Photographers — idiots, of which there are so many — say, “Oh, if only I had a Nikon or a Leica, I could make great photographs.” That’s the dumbest thing I ever heard in my life. It’s nothing but a matter of seeing, and thinking, and interest.” ~ Andreas Feininger (December 27, 1906 – February 18, 1999)
