World Book Day 2020
Read any good books lately?
Today is World Book Day. When I look at a shelf I have, I’m continually amazed at the number of books I’ve had the pleasure to be part of, either being commissioned for cover photography or contributing interior images/author headshots. This stack is just print, I have a few more as e-books on the resume.
I’ve been a lifelong reader, and usually now have two books (paper and Kindle) going at any given time. To have one of my photos included in a book is one of my biggest pleasures.
Working with different writers, editors and designers has long been a thrill. It’s great to be part of their world.
These books, these stories all play into my photography, too. I travel to different time periods, different locations, and that all then does contribute to my vision when I’m behind the lens.
