Kim and Kevin Get Married!

When I first photographed Kim Robles, she had a 5,000 watt smile.

That was a few years ago. She was instructing Olivia in the way of jujitsu, and she asked me to shoot her Kima Warriors.

Even though Olivia stopped training at that doja, Kim still reached out to me last year and asked me if I’d do an engagement shoot with her and her fiance, Kevin.

Of course I said yes! And on that cold, windy day, Kim’s smile was 25,000 watts.

Then, a couple of months ago, she contacted me again, this time to shoot her wedding to Kevin!

Of course I said yes to this as well.

And on this day, her smile – which I don’t think left her face all day – was 100,000 watts!

Now, before going into this shoot, I showed my good friend, Bryan, my photos of Nick & Greg’s wedding.

I’m glad I did. Bryan has nearly 200 wedding under his belt, and he gave me some great feedback and tips, which prepared me better for Kim and & Kevin’s wedding.

My goal, overall, was to just document Kim and Kevin’s day, and catch as much of the smile as I could – from hair and makeup to the very end of the evening.

Of course, pre-ceremony, I wanted to capture some of Kevin and his groomsmen as well!

After the ceremony, we headed to The Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank, NJ, where the reception would be held. I had some grand ideas – they have a great back patio area that overlooks the Navasink River – but it started to rain when we got there, so only did a few outside.
