JSP Visual Week In Review ~ 10.02.21

And the trees are stripped bare
Of all they wear
What do I care?

~ October. U2

We’ve hit the tenth month of 2021

The year is slipping by, but we had some of the best weather here in New Jersey this week.

Cool mornings, warm afternoons slidinging into cool evenings.

Been happy that my fitness program has stayed on track, and some positives being felt.

Got the physical exercise in…as well as the mental creativity, too.

That balance is nice.

Strive for balance.

Oh, and back up your work!

This Week’s Links:

What I Read This Week: Still working on The Valley Of The Dolls. Finished Sherlock Holmes and the Twain Papers.

What I Watched This Week: Night Books, directed by Sam Rami, with my boys last night. Not bad for the 9-14 crowd. And a fun The Lost Boys reference for the 47-53 age range (need to watch that one again this month).

What I Listened To This Week: Debbie Millman on Chase Jarvis Live. Great convo. (YouTube link. Spotify link)

National Geographic: The Epic COVID Memorial on the National Mall photo by Stephen Wilkes

BBC: The Pioneering Scots Photographer Who Captured China

Hands On Photography (watch): Ant Pruitt and Nick Anderson on Pet Photography

On Set with Daniel Norton: Getting The Most Out of Your Speedlight

Bert Stern: Would have been 91 today. Read his obit here.

“I think all my pictures are ideas, and they’re ideas made into images.” ~ Bert Stern
