JSP Visual Week In Review ~ 03.12.22
“We talkin’ about practice.” ~ Allen Iverson
This week, I’m thinking about practice and how I should be doing more of it, in a number of areas.
Photography, for one. My cameras have bene sitting in my bags, not really coming out unless I’m called/hired to do something.
I’m still shooting with my phone on my daily walks, which I think does help in building my “photo eye”. But I feel I need to get get out there a bit more with the machines themselves to practice.
And by “out there” I don’t mean physically outside. I just mean working with them, be it on a photowalk or in a studio.
Another practice I need to shore up is this blog. I feel I’ve been getting lazy and not showing enough work here – good, bad, commissioned, my own. So, will look to do more of that.
There are a few other areas in my life where the practice needs to be put in.
We’re all a work in progress, writing our own story, telling it our way.
Let’s push on.
And keep on practicing.
