OK, I broke my Visual Week In Review streak last week. Ugh. I created one (above), just never sat down to do the post. I had a couple of shoots, lots of editing, working, then visited my mom (also above!)
So, posting last week AND this week. It’s a Sunday 2fer.
Dogs days of August are here. The multi-week heat wave we had going, which beat us down and burned out the grass and made the leaves fall early…finally broke. The last couple days have been mid-80s and very nice.
But I start to get down around this time of the summer. Back To School ads are running, and I get that old pit in my stomach about starting school.
That said, I think my kids are looking forward to going back. Matt will be in middle school with his brother, and Liv is starting sophomore year with big things happening – she’s playing trumpet in the high school band and is starting voice lessons.
Of course, there will be Fall baseball, too.
But still…summer is on its way out. And I’ll miss it.
And I guess I have to start a new streak.
